Welcome to my March-April newsletter.

It has been a busy and exciting couple of months since my last update.

At the beginning of March I showed at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park with Gallery One.

It was a good turn out with sales up from last year which gave hope to many of the galleries exhibiting.

I was pleased to sell one of my larger pieces.

ROYAL ACADEMY SUMMER EXHIBITION

The beginning of April marks the hand in date for submissions to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Having had a painting accepted in 2005 I am a glutton for punishment in trying to show there again.

THE QUE AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY

I've been accepted, shortlisted and missed out altogether last year so am hoping for a win this time.

The thought of free champagne and seeing my painting on the RA walls at the Private View makes trekking up to London with a nine foot long canvas on the roof rack of a little Fiesta worth while.

Also during March, if you happened to be in the West end you may have spotted Superman flying out of the window of the Sheridan Russell Gallery. This is a fabulous sculpture and painting gallery right in the heart of London.

ADAM'S MUST SEE EXHIBITION

Walks in the Surrey Landscape is an exhibition of paintings and etchings by celebrated local artist Bonnita Apperley.

SKIMINGTON COTTAGES, REIGATE HEATH

This will be a great exhibition housed in 'The Artists' Gallery', Reigate featuring over 50 paintings and etchings.

Friday 8th to Sunday 10th May.

Open daily 9.30-5.30
